Music from Another Room
Musical comedy Music from Another Room is about Danny, a young man who grew up believing he was meant to marry the girl he helped deliver when he was five years old. When his neighbor went into labor, Danny delivered the girl. Danny returns to his hometown 25 years later and finds Anna Swann, who he can't help but fall for. She doesn't want to be with him because she's already engaged to Eric, a very practical man. In his search for Anna, Danny gets into trouble with each of the Swanns, including Nina, who is blind and sheltered, Karen, who is cynical, Bill, who is big, and Grace, who is dramatic. Danny is trying to show that fate should not be messed with and passion should not be practical.
