Pat and Mike
Only when Pat Pemberton's overbearing fiancé is there does she perform at her best. She has a shot at the ladies golf title until the final hole, when his presence causes her to get nervous. While he wishes they could be married and put the whole situation behind them, she isn't so willing to give up on her dreams. An unsavory sports promoter named Mike Conovan is brought on board to assist her out. Both of them had to deal with mob bosses and a jealous boxer as well as their increasing desire.
