When the factory owner earns some Manchu thugs to try and boost manufacturing companies, a factory's workers have their pay cut by 20 percent. Struggling to reclaim their salary, the workers hire an actor to impersonate kungfu expert and also a priest from Shaolin's temple. The factory owner proves the actor a fraud, and punishes those involved. The actor feels he promises to at one, and has let down the workers. He lays out for Shaolin, made to be considered a kungfu student at the temple.
