Sobibor
The film is centered on a real story that happened in 1943 in the Sobibor concentration camp at German-occupied Poland. The movie's main character is the soldier Alexander Pechersky, that at the point was serving at the Red Army as a lieutenant. In October 1943he had been seized by the Nazis and sentenced into the Sobibor concentration camp, at which Jews were being exterminated in gas chambers. But, in just 3 weeks, Alexander had been in a position to organize a worldwide uprising of offenders. This uprising triggered being the one through the duration of the war, that led to the escape of prisoners out of the Nazi concentration camp.
