The Dreamlife of Angels
In Lille, two young women who are poor and don't have many options meet and become friends. Isa moves in with Marie, who is flat-sitting for a mother and child who were in a car accident and are both in comas in the hospital. Isa is friendly and doesn't have any skills. She wants to move south to warmer weather. Marie is usually either mad or aloof. Then, while Isa starts going to see the child whose apartment they live in and reading to her in the hospital, Marie slowly develops feelings for a rich young man. At first, Marie keeps him away. Then, she starts to chase after him and starts to dream that he is the love of her life. When Isa tries to tell Marie something, it hurts their friendship. How will Marie deal with what will happen? And where will they go after they lose the flat?
