The Fitzroy
The Fitzroy is a live-action black comedy set in a post-apocalyptic 1950s alternate universe. The globe is awash with deadly gas, and The Fitzroy hotel, an abandoned submarine off the coast of England, is the final location to go for a classic seaside vacation. Bernard, the hotel's bellboy, cook, maintenance worker, and general dogsbody, is at the core of the film, as he fights to keep the deteriorating hotel sealed and afloat. However, when he falls in love with a homicidal visitor, he is pushed into a whirlwind of deception, backstabbing, and destruction. Bernard's life actually begins to sink around him as he tries to conceal her killings from the other guests and watchful authorities.
