Hugo Archibald brings home a huge array of exotic animal species and can be really just a physician. The creature is a chimpanzee named Jennie. Dr. Archibald isn't home very much, also Andrew feels he will not care . And Lea that his wife says, also does not need Jennie she gets trouble. However, the kids take an instant liking for her. Jennie is exceptional because she's learning to use and understand sign language. Jennie becomes an important part of Archibald family and Dr. Archibald's son, Andrew develops a close relationship with her. Jennie loves what Andrew does, such as novels and baseball. If he and his dad disagree jennie is there for Andrew. Working is started by A physician Pamela Prentiss . She will not agree for, and can be regarded to be rude for the Archibald family. Lea finds a way she understands, although she instructs Jennie sign speech at a way that Jennie will not know.
