The Police Are Blundering in the Dark
When reporter Giorgio D'Amato comes at Edmondo Parisi's villa to visit his friend Enrichetta, he discovers that the model has been stabbed to death with a pair of scissors. Parisi, the crippled and neurotic inventor of a technology that allows him to picture thoughts, had requested her presence at the villa. Eleonora, Parisi's lesbian wife; Alberto, the ever-present butler; and Lucia, the unrestrained housekeeper are among the other guests. Sara, Edmondo's niece, appears to be the only normal person, and she enlists D'Amato's help in locating the murderer. Soon after, the strange hand strikes again, this time targeting Lucia...
