A coming of age story set in 1975 working-class Brooklyn, in which 2 teenage siblings dealing with their violent papa and their well-meaning however inadequate mommy are caught up in a life of petty criminal offense. Older bro Danny creates a bold scheme to steal adequate money for both to leave, timed around the turmoil of an upcoming Rolling Stones show. The sensitive more youthful bro, Brian, ultimately has an option: stay dedicated to the bro with whom he shares an effective love-hate bond, or use his covert talent as an artist as his very own ticket out of their dead-end presence.
