Abandoned her and the nature of Poetry itself. It's about building connections between generational and ethnic divides. It's about being interested. Staying open. And finding your voice through the magic of poetry. Rosie goes in an unwitting travel of reconciliation, forgiveness, and perhaps most importantly, understanding, through researching her father's past, her own cultural identity, and her responsibility for this.
