14 Blades

Been trained in covert combat from youth, the Jinyiwei are masters of their 14 Blades. Eight for torture, five for murdering, when a mission collapsed and the previous blade allowed for suicide. An elite force of confidential agents having a license to kill, the Jinyiwei committed lethal prowess and their lifestyles into the service of the Emperor. When the Imperial Court is taken over by bad eunuch Jia (Law Kar Ying), the most useful of the Jinyiwei, Qinglong (Donnie Yen) will be assigned to steal an inventory identifying those loyal to the Emperor. Unbeknownst into Qinglong, the Jinyiwei have fallen under the hands of Jia, also during the mission Qinglong is betrayed and barely escapes with his own life. Qinglong must hunt out and rally the loyalists to rise against Jia and revive the Emperor to power as the most desirable person in the land. Are the funniest assassins in the land, his brethren, the Jinyiwei.
