A KADDISH FOR BERNIE MADOFF is a memoir docudrama and narrative fantasy hybrid that tells the tale of Madoff and the system that allowed him to operate for years through the eyes of musician and poet Alicia Jo Rabins, who observes the financial crash from her 9th floor studio in an abandoned office building on Wall Street. Ancient spiritual texts are transformed into fevered fantasies of synchronized swimming, real-life interviews are turned into music videos, and a vivid, vulnerable work of art is created from the unique perspective of an artist witnessing the global financial collapse firsthand.
