A Letter to Momo

Clinging into an unfinished letter written by her deceased father mo-mo moves with her mother by bustling Tokyo into Shio's remote island. Upon his arrival, she begins to explore her new habitat, meeting local kiddies and learning their own customs and routines. However, it's not long until the tranquil island is cropped up around by several occurrences that are bizarre. Orchards prized trinkets start evaporating, are observed ransacked and, most bizarre of all, every day after her mother leaves for work, mo-mo hears mumblings. Annoyed by those creepy goingson and also her mother's refusal to trust them, mo-mo embarks on a strange and supernatural experience to discover the foundation of the mischief, that leads her to a trio of troublesome imps: the flatulent lizard Kawa, the child-like Mame and their hulking ogre pioneer Iwa. Mo-mo learns her visit to the island is in some way connected to her father's mysterious correspondence.
