American Dreams in China

By a frequent ambition, three undergraduates bind together Throughout the 80's' economic reform phase -- to live the American dream. They truly are Cheng Dongqing, a hillbilly who refuses to accept his destiny to be a farmer. Meng Xiaojun, a selfconfident intellectual. An idealistic poet, and Wang Yang. Xiaojun could be your first ever to get an US Visa for analyzing abroad. Yang follows but determines to remain at China because of his cherished. Poor Dongqing is made by the US Embassy repeatedly. Baffledhe reluctantly accepts the job as an English instructor at the university however finally gets fired for instruction classes privately. Across the Pacific, Xiaojun neglects to obtain an adequate job and can be driven to work as a busboy at a diner.
