American Revolution 2
American Revolution 2 begins with footage of the 1968 Democratic Convention protests and the CPD and National Guard's response. The filmmakers accompany members of the Chicago Black Panther Party as they hunt for common ground with white activist groups. In one scenario, Panther Bobby Lee and the Young Patriots, white Appalachian activists in Uptown Chicago, protest police violence. The groups discover shared social and political goals that overcome racial differences: police violence, poverty, unemployment, and bad living circumstances. The movie's dream is a cross-racial, interethnic political movement.
