Bandits
On the day Jean Gabin dies, Simon Verini's wife is murdered by a kidnapper who also takes a wealth in jewels heisted from Cartiers. (Simon was guarding the diamonds for a group of teenagers that looted Cartiers; he suspects them of murder.) He is falsely accused of the crime and sentenced to ten years in prison, during which time he writes to his daughter, Marie-Sophie, who is eleven years old at the time. After being released, he reconnects with Marie-Sophie and the young thieves, vows vengeance, and is immediately apprehended once more. She is perplexed when one of the young criminals falls for her, since she has no idea what to make of her father and retreats to her Swiss fiancé. Is it feasible to find a solution when a crime affects both families and romantic relationships?
