Best Defense

In the engineering field, Wylie is a slacker. 'Landry' is a Sergeant who specializes in armour and protection. They have never met before, but their lives become intertwined when Landry is forced to use the tank Wylie developed to fight in the Iraq war. Whilst waiting for his employer to cease operations, Wylie comes into another engineer who hands him a disk containing the designs for a device that will save his boss's firm. Wylie is left with the disk and the credit for the design after the other engineer is killed a few moments later. Wylie discovers that he is no longer a hack, but rather the salvation of his organization, and that his life has changed forever as a result of this transformation.
