Beyond a Reasonable Doubt
A newspaper author, wanting to prove a point about the lack of inconclusive evidence, chats his possible son-in-law Tom right into a hoax in an attempt to subject ineptitude of the city's hard-line district attorney. The strategy is to have Tom plant ideas causing his apprehension for eliminating a female nightclub professional dancer. Once Tom is condemned, he is to disclose the configuration and humiliate the DA.
