Blue Monkey

A man gets bitten by an insect while working in a greenhouse after touching an exotic plant. He becomes unwell right away and is sent to the hospital, where physicians diagnose him with an unknown bacteria as well as a bizarre parasite that erupts from his lips as a giant slimy wormlike monster. There are more cases of bacterial illness on the way, but the wormlike creature that grows to monstrous proportions after an accidental exposure to a genetic growth booster and begins a reign of terror and carnage in the hospital's abandoned wing is the more immediate problem for the facility.
