Humanity will become extinct in 2050. With the help of roboticist Kenichiro Kurenai, the surviving survivors travel back in time to stop Killgis, the invader. When they arrive in the past, they begin to construct a massive robot known as the Red Baron, whose pilot races against time with the help of enhanced humans to identify the extraterrestrial in a ferocious battle that begins in Tokyo for Earth's existence.
