If Bugs Bunny were to direct his signature inquiry--"What's up, doc?" --toward the modernday Warner Bros. creative team, howevern't be away. For 1001 Rabbit Tales, theysprinkled them , near seamlessly, into a film and've doctored up a batch of animations featuring his comrades and the carrot muncher. Here's the premise: both book inventors, Bugs and Daffy, are competing to sell the copies of a kids' book. Rather than burrowing a beeline into his earnings territory (he should have left a left at Albuquerque), Bugs ends up in the castle of Yosemite Sam, here a harem-leading honcho. Prince Abalaba, sam's pain-in-the-spurs son, needs someone to see his tales. Bugs, who accept the occupation than suffer the alternative, that involving being boiled in oil, signs on.
