Bullets Over Broadway
Set in 1920s New York City, this picture tells the story of idealistic young playwright David Shayne. Producer Julian Marx finally finds funding to the job from gangster Nick Valenti. The grab is that the girl friend Olive Neal of Nick understands the part of a psychologist, and Olive can be just actually a bimbo who may never pass for a psychologist as well as being a actress. Agreeing for the undermine is the very first measure to Broadway's complete seduction of David, who neglects longtime partner Ellen. Meanwhile David puts up with Warner Purcell, the man who's really a compulsive eater, Helen Sinclair, the grand dame who wants her role up, and Cheech, Olive's interfering hit man. Eventually, the playwright must decide whether art or life is significantly more important.
