Five builders are hired to work on a huge old farmhouse in the Welsh mountains, which are very far away. Housed in moldy portacabins, tensions quickly rise between the men and the self-entitled aristocratic homeowner, as well as among the group of men. Dave, a world-weary old man, and Bob, a kind Foreman, try to keep things calm. It turns out that his nephew Steve falls under the influence of bigot Jim.
