Day of the Stranger

Day of the Stranger is a free adaptation of Mark Twain's classic novella The Mysterious Stranger; it revives the 1970s acid western genre. Caine Farrowood is a bounty hunter working for the brutal crime lord Loomweather. Caine is presumed dead after a botched bounty retrieval mission. Just as he believes his life to be gone, he miraculously reawakens by his wife Christina's side. Caine is baffled and perplexed as to how he returned home, but he is quickly involved in the retrieval of another prize. This one is enormous and could cost Caine not his life, but his sanity, as he faces a possible fallen angel.
