Eight Men Out
1919's great Chicago White Sox team will be the saddest team to win a pennent. The team is bitter in their penny pincher owner and also in their own championships. Gamblers make the most of this opportunity to give some players to throw the series (Most of the players didn't get as much as promised.) But Buck Weaver and the wonderful Shoeless Joe Jackson return at the last minute to try and play their very best. The Sox actually return from a 3-1 deficit. 2 years after, the reality breaks out and the Sox are sued on balances. Baseball commissioner Landis has different plans although They're found innocent by the jury. The eight players have been suspended for life, and Buck Weaver, for the remainder of his life, strives to clear his name.
