Our body is the conduit through which we experience the physical world, and it houses our most instinctual aspects. Since David and Venus, we've placed the human form on the highest pinnacle, constructing and sustaining an impossible beauty ideal. Our natural shape has been sexualized, vilified, and often shamed into oblivion by this skewed prism of beauty. Why is the naked body offensive? Is it political? Are we not more than meets the eye?
