I Hired a Contract Killer

After fifteen years' service, Henri Boulanger is made redundant. Shocked, he attempts suicide, but can't go through with it, so he hires a contract killer in a pub to kill him. But he meets and falls deeply in love with Margaret, a flower-seller, which makes Henri realise that his entire life has some meaning afterall. But when he return into the pub to cancel the contract, he discovers it's been demolished - and there's no way he'll get in touch with the killer...
