A little European town gets struck down by an unknown disease which takes many lives. After the passing of their mother, sister falls ill. Having realized that conventional medicine is useless in the face of the sister's disease, Ayia seeks assistance from a family friend, a parish priest and also Father Herman. Inside his house she discovers novels which are very much from the religion that is conventional.
