Invasion of the Body Snatchers

The first remake of the paranoid infiltration classic shifts the invasion's setting from a small town to San Francisco, and begins with Matthew Bennell seeing that several of his friends are worrying about their close relatives being odd in some way. When questioned afterwards, they deny everything or make stupid justifications, implying that they have changed. As the invaders become more numerous, they become more open, and Bennell, who has already witnessed an attempted "replacement," realizes that he and his comrades must go or die. But who can he enlist for assistance, and who has already been kidnapped?
