Isoroku Yamamoto, the Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto (1884-1943) was the Japanese Naval commander who has been awarded the order to attack Pearl Harbour, an order he was duty bound to comply with which went against his personal faith. While this infamous attack is a very low point in Japanese and US history it couldn't have happened if the Japanese government had listened to Yamamoto at 1939 and hunted for a more peaceful means to finish their war campaign, demonstrating his most menacing presages of positive results of the attack to come true.
