It All Starts Today
Set in a forlorn mining town near Valencienne, France, the story is about one man's quest to revive his once-prosperous community and its residents. Philippe Torreton, who earned a César for Capitaine Conan, plays Daniel, a nursery school headteacher in an unemployed town. Daniel is determined to bring life to the village despite all odds. When a parent who has come to pick up her children collapses due to alcohol misuse, Daniel takes the law into his own hands. Despite the townspeople's opposition, his efforts are not in vain in the long run.
