Journey to the Far Side of the Sun

A planet is discovered in the identical orbit but is found making it not visible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decide to deliver British scientist John Kane via spaceship and American astronaut Glenn Ross to explore the other planet. After a disastrous crash-landing Ross awakes to learn that Kane lies near death and that they apparently have came back to Earth, as evidenced by the presence of this Council manager and his staff. Ahead of his wife's prosecution, he soon finds matters aren't as they seem.
