Legendary Amazons

The movie is put during the reign of Emperor Renzong of this Song Dynasty in ancient 11th century China. The emperor neglects state affairs and indulges in personal pleasures, whilst the government sinks to corruption and war continues to rage at the boundaries of the Song Dynasty. The armies of Western Xia's rival nation are invading the Song Dynasty. Yang Zongbao could be your last man standing at the Yang clan, a group of generals who have dedicated their own lives to defending the Song Dynasty from foreign invaders. He apparently dies in battle tragically when the Imperial Tutor Pang refuses to send reinforcements to help him. Yang Zongbao's widowed wife Mu Guiying leads the opposite widows of the Yang clan to carry on the legacy in the husbands.
