Love Cuts

Cecilia, or Sissy to her pals, is a forty-something seamstress. Her long-term husband, Wai Mun, is the owner of an established Chinese restaurant. Despite his dissatisfaction with life since moving from Hong Kong to Singapore, he and Sissy are a loving pair who have a happy marriage. They have a 15-year-old son and a nine-year-old daughter who is extremely close to Sissy and is a wonderful source of joy and comfort to her. In an unforeseen twist of fate, an unexpected occurrence occurs in their seemingly ordinary and uninteresting lives. Sissy discovers a firm bump in her left breast one day. A flood of mixed emotions overwhelms her.
