Meet the Patels

Finding love is not easy. A first generation Indian-American, To get Ravi Patel, the odds are slim. His perfect bride is so beautiful, smart, funny, family-oriented, kind and--in preserving tradition--Indian (though hopefully raised in the usa ). And her name must be Patel in India, Patels marry Patels. So at 30, Ravi makes the decision to breakup along with his American girlfriend (the person that by all accounts is great for him aside from the red hair and American name) and embark on a global search for the following Patel longing to be adored. He attends a convention of Patels living in the united states, enlists the support of his matchmaker mum and travels into wedding season in India. With which we struggle honest and heartfelt, this humor explores the questions : What's love? What's happiness? And do we go about finding them?
