Monsieur Batignole

In 1942 the grocer Edmond Batignole that is apolitical lives with his wife and kid. When collaborator and his of the German Pierre-Jean Lamour calls the Jewish Bernstein family to be arrested by the Nazis members, they move to the apartment that is confiscated. A few days after, the young Simon Bernstein comes to his former dwelling and escapes against the Germans. If he is found by Batignole , he feels sorry and punishes him , hiding Simon out of Pierre-Jean and from his spouse. Later, two cousins of Simon match with him at the cellar of their supermarket. Batignole decides to traveling to Switzerland with the kiddies, when Pierre-Jean finds out the children.
