Monster Beach

Two children, Jan and her brother Dean, are sent away for the summer to live with their uncle, Woody, who is a dropout. What should have been an average summer vacation becomes complex. It should be the epitome of paradise: a remote island, incredible surf, and a laid-back adult in command. What could be better than that? But, why is this location so desolate and uninhabited? Who or what is responsible for the town becoming overtaken by forest, and what are those strange sounds emanating from the beach? When it is discovered that the residents are in fact surf-crazed monsters, the horrific truth is revealed - and they do not treat travelers well. It certainly wasn't the case at first. The advent of a vengeful real estate developer causes everything to alter. Rivalry between siblings and genetic differences are suddenly put to the side as everyone joins forces to defend the bizarre small town they've all come to call home.
