Five friends along with anja join student, Dace, on a journey to study a remote, ancient rock painting. When Mel becomes delirious after skinny dipping in the waterhole their excitement disappears. Bleeding, feverish, confused, she regresses to some vicious predatory state and emotionally. Mel moved undercover. Friends and mel's lover realize they are the prey because she hunts down them.
