Strangled

This psycho-thriller is set in 1960s provincial Hungary, when a series of heinous killings shock the little town of Martfü. While an innocent man is wrongfully tried and sentenced for crimes he could never have done, a crazed killer is on the loose. While under pressure from the prosecutor to see a man hanged, a determined investigator arrives on the scene and quickly gets obsessed with the case. We soon become embroiled in a web of complicated intrigue and horrific drama while trapped in the oppressive social, political, and psychological realm of socialist Hungary.
