The Beast And The Beauty

The Beast and the Beauty (Yasuwa minyeo) is a romantic comedy film from South Korea that was released in 2005. It revolves around voice-actor Dong-gun (Ryu Seung-beom), whose blind girlfriend Hae-ju (Shin Min-a) undergoes surgery to restore her vision. After lying to Hae-ju about his appearance, the hideous Dong-gun decides to take drastic measures to alter his appearance, promising Hae-ju that he will return soon. Meanwhile, Hae-ju confuses Dong-high gun's school classmate Joon-ha (Kim Kang-woo) for Dong-gun. Dong-gun struggles to hold on to the affection of the woman he loves, which leads to hilarity.
