It is set in North Africa during the Second World War. It was filmed in Libya. A British officer hides out with a group of Arab Bedouin as the British leave Libya. He gets married to the daughter of the chief. When his younger brother thought he was dead, he learned he might be alive in Libya, which made him go out and look for him.
