The Count of Monte-Cristo

A TV Version of the classic Alexandre Dumas Book. Edmond Dantes is falsely accused by those jealous of the good luck, and is sentenced to spend the rest of his life in the notorious island prison, Chateau d'If. While imprisoned, he matches with a captive, the Abbe Faria. The Abbe tells Edmond of some treasure hidden away to a tiny island, that he knows the place of. After years in prison, the older Abbe dies, also Edmond escapes disguised while the deceased person. Currently free, Edmond has to locate the treasure so they will use the wealth to exact revenge on those who have wronged him, he was told by that the Abbe .
