The Counterfeiters

It's all about Bernard, a friend of Olivier's who is preparing for his bac. He finds out that he is a bastard and decides to run away from home. In Olivier's bed, he spends the night (where Olivier describes a recent visit to a prostitute and how he did not find the experience very enjoyable). After Bernard steals a suitcase from Edouard, Olivier's uncle, and all of the problems that come with it, he is made Edouard's secretary, which means that he has to help him. A jealous Olivier ends up in Comte de Passavant's hands. He goes to the Mediterranean with him.
