The Cousin

Nounours is the name of a "cousin" who works as an informant for the police. In exchange for his help, the police give him 10% of the drugs they seize. Inspector Gérard Delvaux takes over after his personal contact, Inspector Maurin, kills himself. In the meantime, Judge Lambert is finding out what the police officers have done wrong. Her persistent investigations, which had cornered Maurin, are leading to Gérard and also to Nounours as the source of the heroin that caused recent overdose deaths. Nounours keeps promising Gérard bigger catches, which he is determined to get before he has to tell Lambert who Nounours is.
