The Forgiving
Middle-aged Avi Brickman is still very sad about the death of his eight-year-old daughter five years ago. A thin thread of life kept him alive when he lost his job. He decided to kill himself in the same house where the accident happened. However, when he gets to the house in the woods, he sees a woman and her young daughter there. This story takes place over the course of one long night, and during that time he is haunted by the ghosts of his past. He confronts them head-on, which is both cathartic and surprising.
