The Gendarme Takes Off

All of the old guard at the police station in Cruchot has retired. Now he's married to a rich woman and they're living in her castle, but he's bored to death. He gets into arguments with the butler because he can't even help out with the simplest of tasks. But when one of the group has an accident that leaves him with amnesia, the others band together and kidnap him, planning to show him around their previous workplaces and take him on a tour of their memories. As they don their old outfits, they cause chaos in St. Tropez.
