In 1900 widow Lucy Muir goes to reside at Gull Cottage by the seaside, though it is apparently haunted. Sure enough, this night she meets former owner Captain Gregg's phantom. . .and fails to panic away. Once Lucy gets accustomed haunting her bedroom they eventually become allies and friends. However, when there comes a bewitching man that is live courting, Lucy and the captain must deal with their feelings for each other.
