The Importance of Being Earnest
Algernon Moncrieff is surprised to realize that his rich friend -- that he knows as"Ernest" -- is actually named Jack Worthing. Jack made his alter ego so as to flee his country estate where he takes good care of his charge, Cecily Cardew. Cecily so is excited on his way of life and considers that Ernest is Jack's wayward brother. Algernon, sneaks off to woo Cecily and seeing an opportunity, supposes Ernest's individuality.
