The King's Speech
The King's Speech tells the story of This man who became King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II's father. After his brother abdicates, George ('Bertie') reluctantly assumes the throne. Believed to be king and plagued by a stutter that is dreaded, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue. Throughout a pair of unexpected techniques, and as a consequence of an improbable friendship, Bertie is able lead the country into war and also to find his voice.
