The Marriage of Maria Braun

Near the conclusion of the World War II,'' Hermann, who is instantly sent to battle is married by Maria. After the war finishes, Maria believes that Hermann is dead. She starts working in an bar, where she meets American soldier Bill. They start a relationship that is interrupted when Hermann yields alive. During a scuffle involving the men, Maria kills Bill.
